This portrait was a commission from a friend who wanted something bold and pop-inspired to capture her and her then-boyfriend. I leaned into graphic contrast and expressive color blocking to stylize their likenesses, making the piece feel vibrant, emotional, and slightly chaotic.

The work combines acrylic paint, Sharpie marker, and ink, layered to create punchy flat tones and sharp linework.
